Regular Communication Vital for Keeping Families Close

Ronald McDonald House South Island is an independent charitable trust that provides free accommodation and support to families who must travel to Christchurch and Invercargill for their child’s medical treatment. Each year they provide a home-away-from-home for more than 1,200 families.

Through my agency job I had been involved with the House for over a decade. We designed a large selection of communication from quarterly-newsletters, annual reports, fundraising applications, and other promotional material. My favourite involvement, however, was helping with the Family Dinner Programme, to produce the biggest Shepherds Pie I’ve ever made!
